Muslim Man Sells his dream SUV to provide oxygen cylinders to 250 Covid patients

In an era when youngsters consider possession of cars as a big achievement, Shahnawaz Shaikh, a 32 year old youngster from Mumbai has sold his dream SUV to provide oxygen cylinders to the Covid patients. Shahnawaz and his NGO was actively involved in the COVID -19 relief activities .They were actively involved in distributing food packages and water bottles to the migrants. But one incident made him sell his dream SUV .

He witnessed the death of one of his business partner’s sister for want of oxygen. She was 6 months pregnant and was denied hospital admission. Had she been given oxygen in time, her death would have been preventable.

When he realized the consequences of shortage of oxygen cylinders, he decided to supply oxygen cylinders to those in need from his personal savings. When he started falling short of fund, he decided to sell his dream SUV to procure oxygen cylinders. He says it makes him happy to have his car sold and see peoples lives being saved.
